Actor Akshay Kumar’s film Prithviraj, directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Yash Raj Films, is set to release on June 3. The film will mark the Bollywood debut of Manushi Chhillar and will also feature Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana, Sakshi Tanwar, Manav Vij, and Lalit Tiwari. The movie created buzz ever since the trailer was released. It received a mixed response, and people compared it with Bajirao Mastani, Padmavat, and Housefull 4. 

The historic film is based on the life of King Prithviraj Chauhan. Having said that, let’s take a look at the fees Prithviraj’s cast is charging for the film.

Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar is one of the biggest hit machines we have in the Hindi film industry. He managed to deliver back-to-back hits in 2019 and established a Rs 700 crore box office club. The actor is reportedly taking Rs 60 crore for his role in Prithviraj. 

Manushi Chhillar

After winning the Miss World pageant in 2017, Manushi Chhillar will be seen playing the character of Sanyogita in the film. As per reports, she has charged Rs 1 crore for her character.

Sanjay Dutt

Sanjay Dutt, who will be playing Kaka Kanha in Prithviraj, is charging Rs 5 crore for the film.

Sonu Sood

The actor will be taking Rs 3 crore for his part in the film.

Manav Vij

Manav Vij will be playing the main antagonist in Prithviraj – Muhammad Ghori. He will be charging Rs 10 lakh for the YRF’s period drama.
