Ever wanted to own a piece of actor Ranbir Kapoor’s clothing? Well, now you can. The actor is donating items of clothing from his wardrobe to help girlfriend Alia Bhatt’s organisation, Coexist. The Highway actress made the announcement on Monday and stated that the proceeds from the auction would help provide ‘nutrition for children fighting cancer’.

“Tadaa! Ranbir is sharing his wardrobe with you. Proceeds will go to providing holistic nutrition for children fighting cancer,” Alia Bhatt wrote in an Instagram story post. The sale went live on Tuesday.

According to Coexist’s Instagram page, the organisation was started by Alia Bhatt to highlight and work towards the issues of animal and ecological welfare.

It is no secret that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are dating and in fact, according to rumours, the couple are even planning a wedding soon. In an interview with veteran journalist Rajeev Masand, Ranbir Kapoor had revealed that the deal would have been “sealed” had the “pandemic not hit our lives”.

“I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick mark that goal very soon in my life,” Ranbir Kapoor had said.

The actors will be next seen in Ayan Mukerji’s big-budget epic film, Brahmastra which also stars living legend Amitabh Bachchan.

Alia Bhatt will also be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Bollywood Hungama reports that actor Ajay Devgn will be playing a cameo role in Gangubai Kathiawadi.

“Ajay’s track is more of a 10-day work and he has spoken to Bhansali about shooting for it soon once he wraps up his acting-directorial venture, MayDay co-starring Amitabh Bachchan. His portions will be shot at Filmcity in Mumbai as also some outdoor locations,” a source told Bollywood Hungama.

“He comes to the rescue of Gangubai and then, plays a big role in making her the brothel chief of Mumbai. When no one stood by Gangubai, it was Karim Lala who backed her and put her in the position of power. It’s a strong character, and the film would be incomplete without Ajay’s presence. There is a reason why he is cast for the role, as no one but him could have pulled it off,” the source added.
