Ray Fisher hit a career milestone when he was roped in to play the role of Victor Stone aka Cyborg in the DC and Warner Bros. film Justice League, but the experience shooting the film was rough, according to Fisher.

Fisher took to Twitter to slam his director Joss Wheadon and accused him of “gross, abusive, unprofessional and completely unacceptable” behaviour on the sets of the 2017 film.

On Twitter, Fisher wrote, “Joss Wheadon’s on-set treatment of the cast and crew of Justice League was gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. He was enabled, in many ways, by Geoff Johns and Jon Berg. Accountability>Entertainment.”

Wheadon chose to not reply to Fisher’s tweet, but in an interview with Variety, he said it’s “categorically untrue that we enabled any unprofessional behavior.” He added, “I remember [Fisher] being upset that we wanted him to say ‘Booyaa,’ which is a well known saying of Cyborg in the animated series.”

Justice League was DC’s first movie on the elite superhero group, but failed to make its mark on the box office despite its big budget and star-studded cast.
