Marvel’s Ant-Man 3 script will be written by Rick and Morty writer and co-producer Jeff Loveness.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Loveness has already begun work on the Ant-Man 3 script. The sequel will be directed by Peyton Reed, the director behind the first two Ant-Man movies. Similarly, Paul Rudd will also be returning to star as the titular tiny hero.
There’s no word yet on when the film will enter production, nor is there any information about its release date. While Ant-Man 3, was reportedly set to film early 2021, expect the movie to be delayed by at least a few months or even a year. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Disney was forced to push the release dates for every upcoming Marvel film. The new timeline now forces Black Widow to release on November 6, followed by The Eternals on February 12, 2021. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Seven Rings will come out on May 7, 2021, while Doctor Strange 2 will release on November 5, 2021. The schedule ends with Thor: Love and Thunder hitting theaters on February 18, 2022.
