Shah Rukh Khan is hailed as Bollywood’s ‘King Khan’ for a reason. His unwavering love for fans and heartwarming gestures of kindness, for instance, is precisely what makes him a cut above the rest. SRK turned 57 yesterday, and social media was flooded with love and birthday wishes for India’s favorite hero. He adhered to his customary fan-greeting practice outside Mannat, and even distributed food packages to fans and media persons.  

And well, Khan now intends on surprising his fans yet again. A reliable source quoted the following on the condition of anonymity: “Shah Rukh Khan and his team are making a documentary on the massive fan following that he has earned over his 30-year journey in the industry. The idea is to encapsulate the thoughts of fans, and what makes them travel to Mannat every year on SRK’s birthday. It will also feature some of the fans who traveled from outside India to get a glimpse of Shah Rukh Khan.” 

The immense love and adulation that Shah Rukh has amassed over the years are what led to an undertaking of this sort. The source further added, “The shots and mayhem outside Mannat aside, the documentary will also feature some of the fan interactions of SRK on the birthday eve. It’s basically one special package to celebrate SRK at 57.” 

While it still remains unclear as to how things will pan out, insiders believe the initiative is likely to be linked with the release of Pathaan.  

On the work front, SRK is gearing up for the release of Pathaan in January 2023. While the movie’s promotions are in full swing, they have come up with a unique fan-led campaign. “It’s going to a fan-led campaign, with minimal or even no interaction with the media. Shah Rukh feels, he owes it to the fans, who have stood by him through thick and thin. The same prototype will be followed for Jawaan and Dunki too. He wants to give it back to the fans for their unconditional support, and will be driving the marketing campaign of Pathaan completely with his fans,” stated another source.
