Rohit Shetty’s Simmba has to be one of the most awaited films of 2018 and now we finally get a taste of it with its latest trailer release. 

The trailer starts off with an introduction of Ajay Devgn as Singham, and showcases his town of Shivgadh. Ranveer Singh, plays the character of Simmba, who is an orphan from Shivgadh and who stands for everything Singham opposed, like corruption and dishonesty. Sara Ali Khan plays the role of his love interest, while Sonu Sood plays the antagonist in the film. The trailer ends with an explosive Ajay Devgn action scene, who is seen reprising his role as Singham.

The story revolves around Simmba who enjoys the luxuries that corruption and dishonesty buys. While being blinded by his easy and carefree life, his world is turned upside down after a tragic rape incident. Simmba is forced to reinvent himself and go down the righteous and moral path and carry out his true duty as a police officer, of protecting and serving justice. 

The film ticks all the boxes for a typical masala filled Rohit Shetty film, but also incorporates a deeper meaning within it, by teaching a strong lesson in morals and the possible tragic consequences of being corrupt.
