Bollywood parties aren’t a concept born yesterday. Everyone from fashion designer Manish Malhotra to Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has at least hosted ten each in their respective careers. Sure, the guest list is always the same but every time, it’s a different perspective. And with social media on everyone’s radars, it’s easy access.

However, throwing a party that literally everyone will remember — people who don’t even follow Bollywood– is a task only few people can achieve, such as Bollywood’s superstar Shah Rukh Khan aka the birthday boy. 

As a pre-cursor to his annual Mannat display of affection to his fans and paparazzi, Shah Rukh took the whole of Bollywood away to his Alibaug home, for a quiet but a houseful birthday bash.

Celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Karan Johar, Farah Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and more camped at the Khans’ getaway mansion in Alibaug. Some took the speeboat from Gateway of India while folks like Alia, Sidharth and Deepika took the chopper to get the party venue. Hey, if you’re going to go all out, you might as well make the best use of it.
