Manoj Bajpayee, Samantha Akkineni and the team has been basking in the glory of the success of the show – The Family Man. The show received immense love from the fans, and even critics were quite impressed by Raj and DK’s show. The team, however, has another reason to celebrate. Bajpayee’s show has ranked 4th on IMDb’s list of the Most Popular TV Show in the world.
Bajpayee took to Instagram to share the good news with his fans. He shared a screenshot of the IMDb website and expressed his happiness for the show’s success. The critically acclaimed second season of the show is ahead of Friends, Game of Thrones, WandaVision and Breaking Bad on the list. Loki, Sweet Tooth and Mare of Easttown are the three shows that are above the Amazon Prime Video show on the list.
Talking about the show earlier, Manoj Bajpayee had told MW, “The prep was very different — you go through the whole process of reading the script, finding the character, and here, the backstory was there. I had to get fitter because I knew my directors, Raj and DK, were expecting a lot from me when it comes to action. There are so many sequences that you see and they are continuous, without any cuts.
There are long shots of action, and for that, you really need to be extremely fit. I still remember after shooting for the climax, each and every member of the acting department was completely exhausted when they went to their hotels, and I was partying, while everyone was putting their feet into hot water. Some of them were injured, hurt, and getting massages done, but I was enjoying and celebrating with a bottle of wine with the other departments. And that day, I realised that I felt fitter than I have ever been in my entire career.”
