The buzz around Tiger 3 is getting real with each passing day. Reports suggest that Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi have already kickstarted the shoot for the film in Mumbai, and new details about the plot of the film have now surfaced online. It is being reported that Hashmi will be playing the role of the antagonist in the film, and the audience will get to see Khan fight the actor on the screen.

Several media reports suggest that Hashmi will essay the role of an ISI agent in Tiger 3. Confirming the news, a source told Pinkvilla that Hashmi’s character will be named Tiger, and he will taken on Salman Khan’s character, who is popularly known as Tiger as well. Yes, it is Tiger vs Tiger this time. Khan will essay the role of a RAW official, and the film will revolve around a battle between Indian and Pakistani intelligence agencies. The source added that Kaif’s character Zoya will also get a fresh twist. Ranveer Shorey, who worked with Khan in Ek Tha Tiger, is reportedly returning for the third part as well.

Hashmi has often talked about wanting to be a part of the Tiger franchise. “I would love to work in the franchise. I would love to work with Salman. It has always been a dream and hopefully it will come true,” the actor had told PTI recently. Before this, when he was asked about an update about the film, he had said, “I don’t know. Am I a part of it? I’m hearing this news of me doing the film from the media. The talks are on. Ask Tiger (Salman Khan) if I’m doing the film or not.”

Apart from this, YRF’s espionage drama, Pathan, will also see Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan coming together after ages. Khan has a 15-minute appearance in the film which also stars John Abraham in a key role. Salman Khan will be reprising the role of Avinash Singh Rathore aka Tiger for the film, and both the stars will be carrying forward the film under the guise of undercover RAW agents.
