There’s nothing more special than friendships and who better than Sooraj Barjatya to depict the same in a film? With veterans like  Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Anupam Kher, and Danny Denzongpa roped in, Uunchai is a story of four friends and the strong bond that they share. The trailer of the same is getting some great responses from the audience.  

The story establishes the fact that the four characters are very close and really cherish their friendship. When one of them passes away, the remaining three friends decide to fulfill one of his fondest dreams – to climb Mount Everest base camp. They set on a mission to do the same with the help of Parineeti Chopra. Will they succeed is something we will get to see in the film.  

The trailer touched everyone’s hearts and many took to Twitter to react to the trailer. People were in awe of the story and shared how excited they were to see all the actors on the screen together. Kher talked about meeting Barjatya to discuss the Uunchai, and said, “I remember during Saraansh Sooraj was the 5th assistant director. He used to sit in one corner as nobody used to give him much work on the sets. I walked up to him and engaged him with a few on-set tasks. Later, both of us went on to collaborate on blockbuster films such as Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, Vivah, and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo“. 

The film also features Sarika and Neena Gupta. Helmed by Sooraj Barjatya, Uunchai will hit the theatres on November 11.
