The Grammys 2022 award night marked a lot of firsts. From many artists bagging their first awards to many artists not attending the awards, we saw it all. Some gave hilarious speeches and others made the audience emotional with their words. Some artists made people go gaga over their live performances while others gave a performance of a lifetime. However, the highlight of this starry night became a conversation between BTS member V and pop icon, Olivia Rodrigo. 

In a viral clip from the award night, one could see V sitting next to Rodrigo and whispering something in her ear, leaving her surprised. Ever since the video came up, people wondered what the BTS member must have told the “Driver’s License” singer. 

He finally opened up about what he told Rodrigo and revealed that they were talking ‘important business. Replying to a fan, he said, “Just an important business. We know each other well right. I didn’t even use English.” Another fan stated, “So Olivia listened to Korean and acted she was so surprised. You are really a pro.” He replied, “I didn’t say Korean (to her too).” 

The conversation further concluded with a fan saying, “It is so funny that you didn’t use English. Olivia is very good at acting”, to which he replied, “She is a hero Olivia.”

BTS that includes RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook were nominated for a Grammy for their English single “Butter.” However, they lost to Doja Cat and SZA. As for Olivia Rodrigo, she took home three Grammys for The Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album for Sour and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Driver’s License.”
