On July 17, the notoriously private singer of the hit Hello, Adele, was spotted sitting courtside with rumoured boyfriend Rich Paul at Game 5 of the NBA Finals at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Ariz.
ESPN‘s Brian Windhorst seemed to confirm the relationship between Rich and the British pop star on a late-night podcast following the game’s conclusion; “Rich Paul brings his girlfriend to the game to sit next to LeBron. His girlfriend is Adele,” he said. “This is the first time that they’ve come out in public together.”

Page Six confirmed on Tuesday, July 20, that according to a source, the two were involved, telling the outlet something to the effect of ‘Adele and Paul are “100 per cent” dating’.
This comes after Adele’s divorce was finalised in March this year, with her separating from Simon Konecki after about five years.
Another source, an eyewitness, told Us Weekly “She kept turning her head to talk to Rich and even though you couldn’t see her mouth because it was covered with her mask, you could tell she was smiling and laughing.”
“She had a blast watching the game. She was very attentive.” The source continued. “She was definitely happy chatting and just being with him at the game,” adds the source. “They would lean into each other to whisper something into their ears, and she would laugh.”
Paul had also hinted that he was seeing a high-profile musician ahead of his rumoured date with Adele.
“She was over yesterday,” the sports agent said in a New Yorker profile published in May, referring to a woman he called a “major pop star.” He went to claim, however, that he is “not dating” anyone, adding, “I’m single.”
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, in the neighbourhood of Glenville, 39-year-old Paul became a sports agent after meeting a teenaged James at the Akron-Canton Airport in 2002. They became close enough that Paul went to work at Creative Artists Agency, under James’s then-agent Leon Rose. Developing a knack for the business, he was eventually able to venture out for himself.
Today, Paul has his own agency—Klutch Sports Group, which he started in 2012—and is one of the most well-known agents in sports. He is the head of United Talent Agency’s sports division. His clients include James, Philadelphia 76ers player Ben Simmons, Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis, and Golden State Warriors player Draymond Green, among a slew of others.
