But of late, women actors are carving a new niche for themselves, and stepping into roles that fall under the thriller genre. Bollywood is not to be left behind, if these movies are any indication. The film, which released last week, has been directed by Siddharth Sen, written by Pankaj Matta and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah, Aanand L. Rai and Mahaveer Jain. So far, it has received rave reviews.
In this thriller series, Sakshi Tanwar plays the role of a mother hunting for the men behind her daughter’s death and portrays it with immense flair. The show, which dropped on Netflix in April, has garnered a positive response, especially for Talwar’s role.
