It’s official – singer Justin Bieber and model Hailey Baldwin are engaged! The Canadian musician took to Instagram to share an emotional post about the couple’s engagement where he spoke about Jesus, their compatibility and about how excited he is for their new life together.

Earlier, following Bieber’s much-scrutinised breakup with Selena Gomez, the singer had been seen getting friendly with Baldwin and this had led to a lot of online hate for the latter. #Jelena fans weren’t too happy with the fact that Justin Beiber was seeing someone else and had descended upon Hailey’s Instagram and left some nasty comments.

While many congratulated the couple, some fans took to Selena Gomez’s recent Instagram post to leave comments about how Beiber had only proposed to Baldwin to get Gomez’s attention and that she deserved better.
