In a shock development, WWE wrestlers John Cena and Nikki Bella have announced their split after six years together. Bella tweeted on Sunday that the two have decided to end their engagement, asking for privacy at this time.

The couple made a statement saying, “While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another. We ask that you respect our privacy during this time in our lives. ”

Cena famously proposed to Bella last year at Wrestlemania 33, and their last public appearance together was Wrestlemania 34 on April 8th.
