Unfortunately, India Pakistan don’t play a bi-lateral series that often. But whenever they compete, like they did in this year’s Champions Trophy, it’s a treat for sore eyes. Usually, India emerges victorious if you go by recent records, but there are instances when our neighbors get the better of us. Like it happened in the Champions Trophy final where Pakistan hammered us by 180 runs.

Recently, Babar Azam scored a 26-ball century in a charity T10 game (another matter that he was hit for six 6s in an over too). It’s almost a boundary every ball, and if he keeps his head around him, Azam is going to be a nightmare for Indian bowlers whenever they come face to face. But he isn’t the only one from the Men In Green who can hurt India. Let’s take a look at a few others. 

Fakhar Zaman

Fakhar Zaman made India bleed when it mattered. His 114 from 106 balls was what set up the victory against clear favorites India. Whenever he faces India next, the men in blue will be very eager for revenge and get him out cheaply. 

Hasan Ali

Like Zaman, Hasan Ali too had a huge role to play in Pakistan’s victory in the Champions Trophy final where he took three wickets after conceding just 19 runs. He had an impact in the entire tournament as well, and is one of the few medium-pacers in the world with a knack of picking wickets at crucial stages. 

Imam-ul-Haq

Yes, he is related to Inzamam ul Haq (his nephew), and if he can be half as skillful a batsman as his uncle, then Indian bowlers are going to suffer big. In his debut match, he scored a century which proves that he is hungry for runs and success and is perfect for bringing glory to his country. 

Shadab Khan

An able spinner, Shadab Khan has received praise from the likes of Wasim Akram and Moin Khan for his prodigious leg spin. He is yet to perform well against India, but given a good pitch, he can cause plenty of problems with his variations as he is not an easy bowler to pick. 

Certainly, with these men, the future of Pakistan cricket doesn’t look as dark as it did some time back.
