6 Cricketers And Their Tattoo Fetishes
6 Cricketers And Their Tattoo Fetishes

From Virat Kohli’s scorpion to Chris Gayle’s tribal designs

Tattoos have forever been a rage. While most settle for ones that hold a meaning to them, others take inspiration from the tattoos inked on their favourite celebs, especially cricketers when it comes to India.

And while the ongoing IPL might be temporary, these tats on our favourite cricketers sure are permanent.

Virat Kohli: Any such list would be incomplete without Team India’s most popular member. Royal Challengers Bangalore didn’t make it to the playoffs, but Virat made it all the way into our hearts once again. The star captain has a huge fetish for tattoos with four inked on his body already. They include his zodiac sign on his upper arm, the Chinese symbol of faith, a tattoo of a Japanese Samurai warrior and another tribal design.

Mitchell Johnson: Even though this Australian left arm bowler didn’t play many matches this season, we still caught glimpses of his hot body with those sexy tattoos — a Japanese style koi on his right arm and an unfriendly cat stooped down on his left torso.

Shikhar Dhawan: The gabbar of the Indian cricket team and star player for Sunrisers Hyderabad has confessed he is a tattoo addict. He has a bird on his left calf, a tribal design on his right shoulder and another one on his back among many others.

Kevin Pietersen: We surely miss the ace England on the field, but he was a sight worth witnessing in the commentary box. KP has never shied away from giving glimpses of his numerous tattoos whenever he was in action. He’s got the three lions tattooed on his arm, followed by roman numbers, names of his wife and son, and the best being a world map on his torso with red stars indicating the places he has scored a century at.

Ravindra Jadeja: An integral part of the Chennai Super Kings lineup, the left-arm all rounder not only flaunts his on-field skills, but also his nickname on his arm. Jadeja bears the word ‘Jaddu’ and a dragon etched on his back.

Chris Gayle: Royal Challengers Bangalore’s loss became Kings XI Punjab’s ace card this IPL. After a disappointing season last year, we finally got see Gaylestorms in many of Punjab’s matches this season. Gayle is not only known for his batting, but also for his famous galaxy of stars tattoo inked on his left arm and an African tribal design on his right.
