Portugal Star Goncalo Ramos Is In Trouble After His Intimate Video Gets Leaked Online

Ramos rose to prominence after scoring hat-trick for Portugal

Goncalo Ramos, the man of the moment who replaced Cristiano Ronald and smashed a hat trick on his World Cup debut, is in trouble after an intimate video of him masturbating in his hotel room was leaked. As per some reports, Ramos shared a video with a woman, who eventually dropped it on the internet.

Ramos came to the limelight last week when he was trusted to helm the attacking lineup ahead of Ronaldo, in Portugal’s Round of 16 clash against Switzerland in World Cup 2022. Ramos didn’t disappoint, as his thumping strike early in the first half gave his team a lead. He added two more to his name to secure his place in the quarter-finals against Morocco.

Ramos currently plies his trade for Benfica, where he was promoted as the main striker after Darwin Nunez left for Liverpool at the start of the season. He has already scored 21 goals and recorded six assists in 21 appearances.

Manchester United, now bereft of Ronaldo after contract termination, is now leading the race to sign Ramos. However, for that, the club may need to splurge in excess of €120m, the amount Benfica president Rui Costa has set for his release clause. Costa also stated that he is not willing to consider any offers below the release clause in the January transfer window, but also cautioned that the main objective is not to earn profit but win titles.

“We have the sole objective of having a winning season, no player will leave – unless it is due to the clause – which at this moment is fundamental for the squad,” said Costa, adding,”What I can promise our supporters is what I did at the beginning of the year. This is a sporting project, not a financial one. Fortunately, we are not experiencing financial problems and we have no need to sell players.”

It looks like the interested clubs will need to wait for the end-of-the-season window to acquire Ramos below the release clause. Other than Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal have also shown interest, as both clubs are in dire need of a striker.
