After killing it for their respective teams on football, the trio of Neymar, Pogba and Messi might be headed to kill it in the video game world, quite literally. A popular Call of Duty leaker TheGhostofHope reported that the football legends are coming to Modern Warfare 2 as operator skins.   

As per the leaker, this will be done to promote the upcoming FIFA World Cup, which officially kicks off at the end of November, days after the release of Warzone 2.0, which is scheduled for November 16. As things stand though, take everything with a grain of salt like always.   

Surprisingly, this won’t be Paul Pogba’s first rodeo with the franchise, with the Juventus midfielder appearing in Warzone back in August 2020, joining the Verdansk Sparks club as a battle royale map. Coming back to the new game, the leaker also mentions that Roze and Reyes will also be included in the roaster.   

Call of Duty players might remember Roze from back in the day for her pitch-black outfit, helping her blend into the shadows of the map. Meanwhile, Reyes is rumored to be a new character introduced in Infinite Warfare.  

This isn’t the first time the Call of Duty franchise has roped in big names, both fictional and non-fictional. Over the years, Warzone has seen characters from The Terminator, Rambo, and Die Hard. While Call of Duty: Vanguard saw Snoop Dogg being introduced as a playable character. The idea of Neymar, Messi, and Pogba being an addition to the list wouldn’t come as a surprise. It remains to be seen though if their gun shooting skills are as good as their football shooting skills.
