Taking Smartphone Design to the Next Level

While the realme 9 Pro+ 5G packs a serious arsenal of camera, processing, and even battery upgrades over its competitors, it also offers one of the most unique design concepts ever seen in a smartphone.

realme Design Studio first compiled several photographs of sunrises from fans across 9 time zones – resulting in a confluence of sunrises from across the planet. These were then distilled into two perfect shades – the quiet blue of dawn, and the blazing red that accompanies a rising sun.

The result is the realme 9 Pro+ 5G’s Sunrise Blue finish. After over 200 attempts, realme’s experts crafted a dual-layer photochromic process, resulting in a beautiful finish that, under the sun’s UV rays, quickly shifts from blue to a radiant red.

It isn’t just about personal aesthetics, either. This year, realme decided to flaunt their style quotient – right on the world stage – appearing in a practical, stylish chest strap created in collaboration with HELIOT EMIL for Paris Fashion Week 2022.

Masters of minimal, high-precision techwear, Copenhagen-based HELIOT EMIL was created by brothers Julius and Victor Juul – who named the studio after their great grandfather’s legacy as a master craftsman.
Seeking inspiration from realme’s ‘Light Shift’ concept, the brand’s subversive impressions and critical eye for detail cut through Paris Fashion Week’s 2022 lineup, fusing creative expression and a technical aesthetic with realme’s stunning new design technology.

It’s not all looks, either.

The realme 9 Pro+ 5G is one of the world’s first flagships to feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 920 5G processor, the fastest 5G processor in the segment with a 90Hz Super AMOLED Display. It is also the first in the segment to feature a benchmark-leading 50MP Sony IMX766 lens, with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) in the primary camera which works across videos, photos, and other modes while EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) keeps videos shot by the realme 9 Pro+ 5G smooth and shake-free.

The realme 9 Pro+ 5G is also India’s first smartphone to feature an in-display fingerprint reader with a heart-rate sensor.
