India and Chennai Superkings all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja’s wife, Reeva, was allegedly beaten up by a police constable yesterday. The incident was understood to have taken place after her BMW hit the constable’s motorcycle, explained Jamnagar district superintendent Pradeep Sejul. 

“The policeman physically assaulted Reeva Jadeja after her car hit his motorbike. We are providing all possible help to her and will take strict action against the policeman” he stated.

A witness to the event said “The policeman mercilessly thrashed Reeva and even pulled her hair during an altercation. We saved her from his clutches.”

Jadeja and Reeva got married in April two years ago. No further details are known at this stage.
