“The scene was fucking crazy,” said a witness to People. “It was entourage against entourage. They had their altercation on the second-floor balcony, right above the red carpet. All of the sudden there was a big commotion and everyone didn’t know what was going on.”

The scene the witness was referring to is a shocking altercation that took place between rapper Cardi B and Nicki Minaj’s security detail. According to a video that is doing the rounds, Cardi can be seen rushing at Nicki Minaj while her entourage rushes to protect her. The Bodak Yellow singer can be heard yelling at Nicki to ‘come at her’ while the Barbie Dreams icon tells her that she is standing right there.

While Mrs Majesty appears to have gotten away from the scene without a single care in the world, Cardi B was escorted out of the event and was photographed with a huge bruise over her eye and no shoes on. Her red Dolce & Gabbana dress also appears to have been ripped. According to Variety, the singer sustained the injury when she was elbowed by one of Minaj’s guards who rushed to protect her.

Naturally, Cardi B took to Instagram to share her side of things, claiming that she was forced to do what she did because Minaj had ‘liked’ comments about baby Kulture. However, according to numerous fan pages on the internet, such details about Minaj liking said comments are yet to emerge.
