B-town’s favourite filmmaker, Karan Johar announced his recent venture, a new digital division called ‘Dharmatic Entertainment’ on Wednesday. In an interview with Mint earlier this year, Johar had stated that he was planning to go digital next year.

This digital company is under his film production and distribution company Dharma Productions. With a spike in the demand for digital content, Dharmatic will cater to various digital platforms and channels.

This company is a joint venture between Johar and the CEO of Dharma Productions, Apoorva Mehta. Johar announced that Somen Mishra, head of creative development at Dharma Movies, will be heading the fictional wing, whereas former journalist, Aneesha Baig will be in charge of the non-fictional content.
