Ever since its announcement, Reham Khan’s book has been awaited with bated breath by netizens.

Ever since its announcement, Reham Khan’s book has been awaited with bated breath by netizens, even as many condemn it for its controversial content. Reham Khan is a journalist, a film producer and the former wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan. The book had been termed ‘libellous’ even before its release, simply because of rumours that it would contain shocking details about the alleged debaucheries of Imran Khan.

It would appear that the rumours were true. The just-released book has many shocking revelations about the Pakistani politician, none as much as the fact that he apparently has illegitimate children residing in India. One particular passage details how Imran Khan revealed that he’s had affairs with married women, some of whom gave birth to his offspring.

“What? You have five illegitimate children! How do you know?” I asked.
“Well, the mothers told me,” he said.
“All White’s?”
“No, some are Indians. The eldest is 34 now.”
‘How Imran? Why did the mother not come out with it?”
“Because she was over the moon! She had been married for ages and couldn’t get pregnant. She was overjoyed, promised to keep it a secret, and begged to keep it. So I said OK.”
“And the rest? Why did they never speak?” I fired at him. There were so many questions in my head.
“Well, because they were all married and they didn’t want their marriages to be destroyed,” he said.

In the book, she also speaks about how she had invited several Indian producers who had shown an interest in making a film on Imran Khan’s life. Considering the colourful life he’s lived, we agree that it would be a great idea to see it on screen.

Imran Khan is not the only one to be exposed in her book, however. Businessman Zulfikar Bukhari and cricketer Wasim Akram, amongst others, had served legal notices to the journalist over alleged excerpts of her book which contain defamatory content. The book is now available on Amazon.
