Post Shilpa Shetty’s first public statement on the matter of her husband’s arrest via social media, son Viaan Raj Kundra has made a post of his own.

After his father’s arrest for his alleged involvement in the circulation of porn, this is Viaan’s first post. In the carousel of three images, he can be seen in an embrace with his mother, Shetty. She has no make-up on her face. They are both smiling in the set of photos and Shetty can be seen kissing her son’s cheek in the third photo.

The 9-year-old did not add a caption to the post.

Shilpa Shetty’s Hungama 2 co-star Meezaan Jaffrey dropped a heart emoji on the post, while Tiger Shroff liked it. Although Viaan’s account is not verified, it is followed by Raj Kundra, who often tags him in posts.

Prior to this, Shetty had taken to Instagram to share her two cents on the matter – she stated that the family did not deserve a media trial. She advocated that they deserve privacy in this time and requested the media to act accordingly. She also reiterated that she will not be making any statements as the matter is sub judice, maintaining that she is a “proud law-abiding Indian citizen.”

“As a family, we are taking recourse to all our available legal remedies. But, till then I humbly request you – especially as a MOTHER – to respect our privacy for my children’s sake and request you to refrain from commenting on half-baked information without verifying the veracity of the same,” read part of the statement.

Viaan had reposted his mother’s thoughts on his own Instagram stories.
