Well, we are somewhat glad that 2017 is passing away, as it has been a wretched year for the world in general. But then, even in a dark world full of misfortunes and calamities, love manages to survive. The photos from the Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma wedding (which took place in Italy) has left us with a warm fuzzy feeling in our belly, that will take some time to fade away. Both of them look like a million bucks, and this could well be one of the most memorable weddings in Indian history.

Well, certainly these photos and videos must have made your day. Because otherwise, 2017 has been a dull year for us. We saw Donald Trump come into power as the president of United States, early on in the year. Then we’ve seen the passing away of several renowned personalities like Om Puri, Vinod Khanna, Kundan Shah and Shashi Kapoor. 

Other than that, natural calamities like the Cyclone Ockhi and the incessant Mumbai rains rocked the nation. Smog was another issue that made New Delhi hang its head in shame. 

Hopefully, the next year will be much better. Fingers crossed.
