Introducing the Jaeger-LeCoultre's Polaris Date In A Green Dial
Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Polaris Date Adds A Green Gradient Dial Option

Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Polaris Date, launched in 2018, is the most popular of all Polaris collections

Earlier in April, Jaeger-LeCoultre picked the theme of ‘Stellar Odyssey’ for its new watch collection that was launched at Watches & Wonders 2022. The week-long affair had many celestial pieces on display but what caught our eye was the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Perpetual Calendar that made its debut.

This time around, Jaeger-LeCoultre has embarked on a new journey with the release of the Polaris Date in an impressive gradient deep green dial.

About the Polaris Collection

A staple signature of the Maison’s spirit of sporty elegance, the Polaris collection is inspired by the 1968 Memovox Polaris. Set with vintage design codes, utilitarian functions and modern standards of chronometric performance, the Polaris is now an integral part of Jaeger-LeCoultre.

Of the many variations that make up the Polaris collection, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Polaris Date, launched in 2018, is the most popular of them all. This simple and elegant timepiece demonstrates the durability of the timeless design which includes subtle vintage touches.

About The 2022 Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Date in Green Dial

An interesting choice of colour, the new Polaris Date features a lacquered, double-gradient green dial with multiple textured finishes. Superbly designed, the dial offers a balanced mix of opaline, grained and sunrayed surfaces that showcases distinctive definition to each key dial segment. From the mobile inner bezel to the outer minute track, each section features a colour gradient change, from light olive to verdant rain forest. A coat of translucent lacquer gives the dial depth and clarity.

Making a case for utilitarian functions, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Polaris Date features a mobile inner bezel controlled by the crown at 2 o’ clock. This marks the presence of a key feature of a true diver’s watch. Other functions include time and date which is powered by the Maison’s Calibre 899AB automatic movement with a power reserve of 70 hours. The watch is crafted in a 42mm stainless-steel case with a water resistant of 200 metres and a glass-box crystal that recalls the Plexiglas dial crystals of mid-century timepieces.
