This elegant new variation of the Marine 5547 comes with a musical alarm function, and a second time-zone display. The 40mm case is in titanium with a fluted caseband and a sapphire crystal caseback. The sunburst blue dial is in gold, individually numbered, and signed Breguet. Alarm sub-dial is at 3 o’clock, and the time-zone display is at 9. The alarm-activation window is at 12 o’clock, and the date window is at 6. The striking mechanism power reserve is indicated between 9 and 12 o’clock. Faceted Breguet moon-tipped hands are in gold, and the central second hand is inspired by maritime codes. The mechanical self-winding movement has a power reserve of 45 hours. The bracelet is in leather. 

 

AUDEMARS PIGUET ROYAL OAK CONCEPT ‘BLACK PANTHER’ FLYING TOURBILLON  

 

 

The first watch in the Swiss luxury watch maker’s longterm partnership with Marvel Entertainment features a striking white gold 3D hand-painted and engraved rendition of Black Panther in white gold, which envelops the flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock. The 42mm rounded titanium case is topped by a black ceramic, octagonal-shaped bezel. The handwound movement has a power reserve of 72 hours. Limited to 250 pieces. 

 

 

 

JAQUET DROZ GRANDE SECONDE MOON  

 

 

 

 

This watch is part of the two versions of the new reworking of the iconic Grande Seconde to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the brand founder Pierre Jaquet-Droz, this month. While both come in a 41mm, 18K red gold case, the first piece features an ivory Grand Feu enamel dial with Roman numerals for the hours and minutes, Arabic numerals for the seconds, and a midnight blue strap. The second version comes with a matte black dial in an intense, dark astral variation, and red gold indexes. Both are equipped with the 2660QL4 self-winding movement, with a 68- hour power reserve. The moon phase needs adjusting once in 122 years. 

 

 

 

BVLGARI OCTO FINISSIMO TADAO ANDO  

 

 

Bulgari teamed up with the legendary Japanese architect Tadao Ando to create this watch based on the Japanese concept of Mikazuki, or the crescent moon. This first stage of the waxing moon symbolises the transitory nature of time. Time on the watch is expressed using a spiral that uncoils across the blue lacquered dial from the base of the seconds hand. The gold crescent moon at 5 o’clock. The 40mm case, bezel, and crown are in black sandblasted ceramic. Powered by an automatic mechanical movement. The transparent caseback features a laser engraved signature of Tadao Ando. Limited to 160 pieces. 

 

 

 

JAEGER-LECOULTRE REVERSO TRIBUTE NONANTIÈME  

 

 

This striking new version of the Reverso in a pink gold case celebrates the 90th anniversary of the famous watch. It features a front face with a sunraybrushed dial, whose lower half has a moonphase display within the circle formed by the small seconds counter. Beneath 12 o’clock is a large date display. The reverse side is dominated by two round apertures of different sizes, arranged like a figure-eight. The small upper aperture displays a semi-jumping digital hour indication. Seen for the first time in a Reverso, this complication recalls digital displays of JLC wristwatches in the 1930s. In the large aperture below the hour, minutes are displayed on a rotating disc that is partially concealed by a three-quarter plate lacquered in vivid blue, and sprinkled with tiny golden stars to depict the night sky. Within a small circle at the centre, an applied golden sun and moon pass above a horizon to indicate night and day. Powered by a manually wound movement with a power reserve of 42 hours. Limited to 190 pieces. 

 

 

 

HUBLOT BIG BANG e PREMIER LEAGUE  

 

 

Limited-edition version (200 pieces) of the Big Bang e-connected watch launched early this year in collaboration with the English Premier League. It features a lightweight case in satin-finished and polished titanium. The strap, which is available in the Premier League’s signature purple, can be quickly switched, thanks to Hublot’s ingenious One-Click strapchange system. Powered by Wear OS by Google, the watch comes with the Hublot Loves Football Premier League app, which provides animated notifications alert for EPL kick-off timings, goals, penalties, substitutions, yellow, and red cards, extra time, team line-ups, and VAR decisions. If there are two matches on simultaneously, a simple tap allows the switch between the matches. The dial can be set to display the time in both analogue and digital mode. But when the game starts, it will switch to ‘Match Mode’.

 

 

 

ZENITH CHRONOMASTER REVIVAL ‘SAFARI’  

 

 

This lush green interpretation of the vintage El Primero from 1969 comes in a similar size (37 mm) microblasted titanium case. The dial is in deep matte green, with contrasting black registers and a tachymeter scale. The white-on-green date wheel is camouflaged with the rest of the dial. The rubber and the cordura-effect strap is in the same khaki-green tone as the dial. Powered by the El Primero automatic highfrequency chronograph calibre, visible through the caseback. Power reserve of 50 hours.

This chronograph, with controls on the left and blue hands, features a base 1000 tachymeter scale on the flange that allows the calculation of average speed over a predefined distance, in kilometres or miles. Comes in a 44mm steel case. The selfwinding movement has a power reserve of 42 hours. 

 

 

 

LOUIS VUITTON TAMBOUR WORLD TIME RUNWAY 

 

 

The World Time Tambour watch can instantly tell the time in all 24 time zones. If the time indicated by the central hands is the correct time in the city whose name is positioned at 12 o’clock, then the local time in the other capitals can reliably be deduced from their position. The 45mm steel case with black sand-blasted PVD, 18K pink gold bezel and horns, 18K pink gold, and black rubber crown, encloses a dial made up of a sapphire crystal disc that projects the initials of each of the 24 cities as if they were suspended above the hands. The black, white, and yellow colours echo the international aviation aesthetic seen on airport runways. Automatic mechanical movement has a power reserve of 35 hours. 

 

 

 

BREITLING ENDURANCE PRO IRONMAN  

 

 

Part of Breitling’s ongoing series of Endurance Pro Ironman athleisure watches is designed in collaboration with the Ironman group, which organises the eponymous triathlon around the world. This watch comes in a 44mm watch case made from Breitlight. This material is 3.3 times lighter than titanium and 5.8 times lighter than steel, but significantly harder. The red dial features three black sub-dials for small seconds, 1/10th second, and 30-minute chronograph counters. A black bidirectional rotating bezel surrounds it with engraved compass points. Powered by a thermocompensated super quartz movement. It has a red rubber strap with a Breitlight double tang-type buckle. 

 

 

 

OMEGA SEAMASTER DIVER 300M TOKYO 2020  

 

 

The Tokyo Olympics marks the 29th time that Omega has been the official timekeeper of the games. This watch honours this milestone with its unique colour scheme inspired by the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games emblem. The 42mm case is crafted in stainless steel, and is mounted with a blue ceramic bezel ring, filled with a white enamel diving scale. The polished white ceramic dial has been provided with extra depth by the laser-engraved waves. Features include a date window at 6 o’clock and the famous Seamaster name highlighted in red, blued hands, and indexes. The sapphire crystal caseback features the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games emblem. Powered by Omega CoAxial Master Chronometer Calibre 8800 movement. 

 

 

 

CHOPARD MILLE MIGLIA 2021 RACE EDITION  

 

 

Automatic winding chronograph released in time for the 39th edition of the famous 1,000 miles classic race from Brescia to Rome, Italy. Chopard has been the official timekeeper of the race for many years. It comes in a 44mm steel case with steel, or 18K rose gold bezel with a black ceramic insert that takes its visual cues from the dials and gauges of classic automobiles. The caseback bears a chequered flag, the 1000 Miglia logo, and the inscription ‘Brescia > Roma > Brescia’. The grey dial, with a circular satin-brushed finish, features the famous 1000 Miglia ‘Red Arrow’ motif pointing to the semi-instantaneous date display at 3 o’clock. Traditional perforated racing gloves inspire the calfskin leather bracelet, red or black tone-on-tone stitched, rubber-lined, and reminiscent of the motif on the 1960s Dunlop racing tyres. The mechanical self-winding movement has a power reserve of 48 hours. 

 

 

 

TAG HEUER CONNECTED  

 

 

This new version of the TAG’s connected watch expands its multisport app functionality to include swimming and indoor running, in addition to running, cycling, walking, fitness, and golf. It enables pool swimmers to measure and record their performance both on the watch and the phone app. They can see metrics for the number of laps completed, total distance, and interval breakdowns. Similarly, indoor runners can see their heart rate zone. At the end of their session, they can input the total distance recorded by the treadmill into the watch, which will automatically calculate the pace of the session. Another novelty in this update is a dedicated heart rate screen for users who want to focus on their heart rate during a sports activity. Comes in a 45mm fine-brushed steel case. Battery life is 20 hours for standard all-day use, including a one-hour workout, and six hours for sports use. 

 

 

 

GUCCI 25H TOURBILLON PLATINUM  

 

 

Local time in 49 countries. Gucci’s first ultra-thin mechanical sports watch. Comes in a sleek platinum case that is just 8mm thick. The dial features satin-brushed lines with the interlocking G logo. Powered by GG727.25.T self-wound movement whose name is engraved above the dial’s centre. The calibre name references important numerical symbols within Gucci: ‘7’ to encapsulate a sense of completeness; ‘2’ representing balance and cooperation; ‘5’ symbolising curiosity and freedom. The 25H in the name is also symbolic of a number that Gucci Creative Director Alessandro Michele considers a talisman, and one he often features in his collections. Power reserve of 60 hours. 

 

 

 

SWATCH BIG BOLD BIOCERAMIC  

 

 

This watch, with a 47mm case, is a follow-up on the first bio-sourced Swatch that the brand launched last year. It is made from two-thirds ceramic and one-third bio-sourced plastic. Bioceramic is both resilient and resistant with a silk-like touch. There are five colours to choose from: the classic design statements black and white, grey, sky-blue, and pink. The bracelet, glass, and loops are made from bio-sourced plastic. 

 

 

 

LONGINES HERITAGE CLASSIC  

 

 

This is a new interpretation of the historical watch, with a black sector dial. Sector dials were typical of watches in the 1930s, where each sector was given a different finish. The matt centre circle allows the slim silver hand to stand out in contrast. It is inlaid with an anthracite hour circle with a circular brushed finish. The 38.5mm steel case and size is also reminiscent of vintage watches. The mechanical self-winding movement has a power reserve of 72 hours.
