The brand has followed it up with a full-fledged Defy collection now. This 44mm titanium model catches the eye with its ‘gravity control’ gyroscopic module that ensures the horizontal positioning of the regulating organ. The open-worked dial offers clear views of the new skeletonised manual movement, which now occupies only 30 per cent of its initial volume. With 50 hours of power reserve, and the indication at 2 o’ clock.

Richard Mille RM 25-01 Tourbillon Adventure Sylvester Stallone

This unique watch was born from the friendship between the brand founder Richard Mille and Sylvester Stallone, based on speculation as to what watch John Rambo would have wanted to wear. Not surprisingly the titanium case is a massive 50.85 mm in size, while its driving mechanism combines a tourbillon complication and the complexity of a new ‘competition’ chronograph movement. The 70-hour power-reserve, visible using the coupling and function indicators, drives an unusual 24-hour display. Limited to 20 pieces.
