One-Off Ferrari KC23 Unveiled; Power, Specs Price And More
This Ferrari Is Not For Sale

The one-off 600PS-powered KC23 is what supercar dreams are made of

It’s been raining supercars lately! After the Koenigsegg Gemera, it is now the prancing horse from Maranello who’s come up with a one-off creation that has the capabilities to rival any Porsches and Buggatis you throw at it.

Called the Ferrari KC23, the track-only offering was designed by the folks at the company’s Special Projects division, which has also given us other iconic one-offs such as the 812-based SP51 and the SP48 Unica and more. Similarly, the KC23 was built upon the 488 GT3 Evo for an unknown buyer.

What’s interesting though is Ferrari claims every single line on the 488 GT3 was changed, along with the glass and the the headlight clusters. Some of the main design highlights here include butterfly doors, a vintage Ferrari hypercar special along with motorized air vents and a giant rear wing, both of which can be either retracted or removed.

While the exterior still shares some resemblance to the 488 GT3 Evo, the interiors tell a different story altogether. Instead of the finest napa leather and environmentally-conscious upholstery what you get here is a race-spec cockpit, with a roll cage, a yoke-style steering wheel and bucket-style seats. There’s also a fully digital instrument cluster and a special centre console, which uses the three cameras set up all over the car to provide information to the driver.

As expected, the KC23 come with two sets of wheels, 18-inch rims and slick tyres specially designed for the track and a pair of 21-inch (front) and 22-inch (rear) setup, in case you want to take a stroll down the street.

Ferrari has remained mum on the exact engine configuration here, but we suspect the one-off packs a meaty 3.9-litre turbocharged V8 motor which should make more than 600PS of power. As far as the cost is concerned, European reports suggest a price tag of around “a tenth of the millions of dollars”. In case you want to take a look at the KC23, the company will be showcasing it at the Goodwood Festival of Speed from July 13-16, followed by a brief display at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello between August 1 and October 2.
