While celebrities posting pictures with their private jets aren’t rare, Drake revealed that he had bought a massive private jet for himself last year. The plane — dubbed ‘Air Drake’ — sent the internet into a frenzy and was regarded to be the “flex to end all flexes.” The plane, since then, has built a reputation for itself and is widely considered to be one of the most popular celebrity jets of all time. It used to be a Boeing 767 that Drake allegedly spent $185 million purchasing and customising. But the rapper was looking to make it a bit more special and enlisted one of the most popular designers in the world to do so.

Louis Vuitton/Off-White head honcho, Virgil Abloh, took up the project and put his spin on Air Drake. The plane has been covered in blue skies and white clouds, paying ode to Drake’s third album, Nothing Was the Same. The engines have the “Air Drake” label on them, while the tail has Drake’s signature OVO owl logo sitting atop a globe. Apart from that, just to remind you who designed it all, Abloh also put an “Abloh Engineering” label on the body of the plane.
With the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, It could be a while till Drake gets to take it out for a spin, but till then, Air Drake might have to spend some time alone inside a hangar.
