BMW Motorrad Has Dropped A New Trailer For Its Upcoming G 310 RR Motorcycle
BMW’s New G 310 RR Look Very Promising, But Can It Live Up To The Hype?

The motorcycle will come with a 5-inch vertically stacked unit and a single-cylinder 312.7cc motor

Ahead of its launch on July 15, BMW has been dropping teaser after teaser of its TVS RR 310-derived motorcycle, the G 310 RR. The latest one shows us an even closer look at what we’re in for.

For starters, the reports of the G 310 RR coming with an adjustable suspension have been debunked. The new teaser shows no knobs on the fork.

Then there’s also the new instrument cluster, which looks radically different from the dated one we’re used to seeing on the G 310 R and the G 310 GS. It now gets a 5-inch vertically stacked unit, seen on the TVS’s 310cc bike.

Other major cues include a dash of red on the chassis, with a triple red, white and blue paint scheme wrapping up the whole bike. Pre-bookings of the motorcycle are already underway at company showrooms.

The same engine seen on the TVS RR310, the BMW G 310 R and the G 310 GS might be powering this motorcycle, which comes with a single-cylinder 312.7cc motor that could churn out 34PS and 27.3Nm. However, we do expect a little improvement in how the power is delivered.

Considering its positioning, we’re expecting TVS to slap a price tag of around Rs 2.85 lakh on it (ex-showroom). Once launched, it’ll go up against the KTM RC 390 and the Ninja 300. The auto community has been buzzing about the BMW G 310 RR for a while now. And so, it’ll be interesting to see if it can live up to the hype.
