The highly-awaited Ferrari Roma has finally made it to Indian shores with a price tag of Rs 3.61 crore (ex-showroom, India) without further options.
In terms of styling, the Roma is one of Ferrari’s most experimental designs till date. It is based on the Portofino, but Ferrari made sure to add a significant amount of styling upgrades that let the Roma be distinguishable in their stable of vehicles. This is in no way a hey-look-at-me-I’m-a-Ferrai design, it aims to be more subtle and sophisticated, while also forcing people to stop what they’re doing and gawk at the Roma while it passes by.
This is a shining example of how Italians do GTs. The Roma sports a long bonnet, a well-sized, coloured front grille and sleek LED headlights that add to its overall presence. At the rear, you’ll notice four slim cut-out taillights, quad-exhausts and an electronic spoiler that is built into the tailgate.
The cabin of the Roma matches the sophistication of the exteriors, but you do get to witness Ferrari’s inherent sporty nature in some sections of the interior. The dashboard houses the 8.4-inch vertical touchscreen infotainment screen in the center. The Roma also signifies Ferrari’s technological upgrades by featuring a curved 16-inch instrument cluster and including touch capacitive buttons on the steering wheel. It follows a 2+2 seating setup, but the rear seats are only suitable for children.
The Roma is equipped with the trusted 3.9-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine that has been applauded for its performance over the years. The engine produces 620 bhp and 760 Nm of torque, while boasting of a top speed of 320 kmph.
The Ferrari Roma can exclusively be booked via the Mumbai and Delhi showrooms.
