The Italian firm blows us away with its newest offering

Lamborghini continues its tradition of driver-oriented production with its newest iteration of the Huracán, the Performante Spyder. While the unmistakable contours which mark the modern Lamborghini are all present, making it an intimidating lifestyle car, the Performante Spyder has undoubtedly developed the extents of its engineering for it to be driven hard on open track.

 

The exhilaration an responsiveness of the traditional Huracán are heightened as the driver is now lower to the ground, enhancing the experience of driving the car. The car boasts a 5.2 liter V10 naturally-aspirated engine, which pushes it from 0-100 km/h in 3.1 seconds, 0-200km/h in 9.3, and topping out at a speed of 325 km/h. Sheer sports performance.

 

The car also features the option of an open top, differentiating it from its coupé counterpart. Even as a convertible, Lamborghini has built this model to maintain the stiffness of an ultra-performing sports car. Indeed, Lamborghini’s touch of quality is extremely visible in the details of this car, from the in-house production of steering support to electronic system management. Carbon fiber runs through the aluminium body, allowing for a weight reduction of 35kg from the last Spyder model.
