Louis Vuitton has announced the opening of Louis Vuitton Maison Osaka Midosuji in Osaka, Japan. The store is slated to open on February 1, 2020. The store is a result of the collaboration between two architects Jun Aoki and Peter Marino, who both share a long-standing relationship with the French House.
This new four-floor store reflects Osaka’s heritage as Japan’s most important port and highlight’s the city’s
growing role as an international travel hub.
The French designer brand seems to be moving into the hospitality field as well. Louis Vuitton has announced that it is opening the brand’s first-ever cafe and restaurant next month at its Osaka flagship store.
The new café, Le Cafe V will be located on the top floor of Vuitton’s new Osaka Maison and will include a menu designed by renowned Japanese chef Yosuke Suga. The new café is set to start serving on February 15.
