New menu alert at Mumbai’s Masque Restaurant
As he aptly puts it on Instagram, chef Varun Totlani aims to “reimagine the Indian Thali without borders” for Masque’s spanking new menu. Taking a slight detour from the classics and time-tested recipes, expect a reimagined twist with offerings like a Punjabi sarson saag and fish with crispy scales, Pahari bhutwa with turmeric potato foam, Delhi-meets-Mumbai tandoori crab, Mumbai’s ladi pav and Masquelab black garlic pulav amongst several others. Given how Totlani’s fuses his culinary-esque magic to everything he rustles up, it’s safe to say that patrons are in for luck.
