The Michelin-star winning Armani restaurant chain will soon set up an outpost in Mumbai. According to
The Economic Times, the Milan-based hotels and restaurant chain is coming to India courtesy of
Reliance Industries.
The newspaper reported today that the restaurant will be located at the Reliance- owned Jio World Centre, a multi-utility complex with luxury shopping malls, convention centers, hotels and performance arenas that is coming up at Mumbai’s BKC District. It is expected to open next year.
The company’s subsidiary Reliance Brands is already the local partner for the Armani’s clothing lines
Emporio Armani, Giorgio Armani, and Armani Exchange. Armani restaurants which were founded in Milan
in 1998, currently operates 20 restaurants around the world including in Paris, New York, Tokyo,
Munich, and Dubai.
