Every once in a while, a shoe comes along that rejigs the pace of things. This one from the Japanese sneaker maker ASICS Tiger, is timed to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Gel Lyte III, an original affordable running model from 1991. The asymmetric pair of sneakers is a collaboration involving two other big names, the California sneakerhead and Youtube star Sean Wotherspoon, and the trendy Japanese retailer Atmos.
Overall, this is the best of retro and easy-contemporary sneaker I have seen this year so far. And a year like 2020 needs all the rays of hope and cheer that can be shone on all of us.
