Last May, Tom Ford released the 001 watch collection, making it the first-ever timepiece collection for the fashion label. After the success of 001 collection, the brand has now unveiled eight new luxury styles as a part of the Tom Ford 002 Timepiece collection. The latest collection relies on minimalism and gives a refreshing take on the pieces with round silhouettes as compared to last year’s rectangular-cut look.
The 002 collection features an automatic movement, whereas the 001 watch collection featured a two-quartz movement. The range offers three different sizes, including 34mm, 38mm, and 40mm, available in both stainless steel and 18K gold options. The 40mm case comes in 18-karat yellow gold and polished stainless steel, whereas the 38mm and 34mm cases will be available in polished stainless steel and a two-tone option with a polished stainless steel case and 18-karat gold top ring.
The 002 range offers fifty interchangeable straps across a variety of colours and rich materials, including hand-woven braided leather, stitched leather, pebbled grain leather, and alligator, as well as new introductions of pony hair calf and woven grosgrain. For wearers to easily match their wardrobe, both collections maintain the simple interchangeable straps with multiple strap options and two different watch case shapes. Both collections have watch cases that have been thoughtfully designed to allow effortless interchanging of the straps that easily glide in and out of the cases.
