Well, this should be fun. We are all set to witness a Deepika Padukone-Rajinikanth-Ajay Devgn clash at the box office with Chhapaak, Darbar and Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior all releasing on January 10, 2020.

Ever since its announcement, the Meghna Gulzar directed Chhapaak has been hitting the right notes with the audience. The trailer for the Padukone and Vikrant Massey starrer was a hit on social media with multiple shares and views. While Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior hasn’t been that big of a hit on social media despite starring Kajol, it makes the right noise due to its storyline which glorifies India and the braves who fought for it. And, of course, a Rajinikanth film is always highly awaited.

News of the clash was confirmed by film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh who tweeted: “Clash CONFIRMED: #Tanhaji: #TheUnsungWarrior versus #Chhapaak versus #Darbar [#Hindi]… #AjayDevgn, #Kajol, #SaifAliKhan versus #DeepikaPadukone versus #Rajinikanth.”

“I became a producer because I want to reach more people and create an impact through my films. Cinema is such a powerful tool. You want to use that sensibly. You want to use that wisely. I may not be able to do that every single time, but at least that is the intention,” Padukone said about Chhapaak, according to The Hindustan Times.
