2022 Emmy Nomination Snubs Fans Are Not Happy About
Fans cannot believe so many remarkable shows were left out
The nominations for the 74th Emmy Awards 2022 have been announced. This year seems like a special one since so many records have been broken. The series Succession, for instance, has 25 nominations while Squid Game bagged 13 nominations.
While there is so much to celebrate and talk about, these nominations have divided the people as well. Some are happy that their favourite shows and actors have been nominated, while there are many who are feeling betrayed because their favourites have been overlooked.
Right from actors to shows that couldn’t make it on the list, netizens are expressing their rage on social media:
Fans are not happy that the series This Is Us did not get a place on the nomination list. This American family drama series is about two families and their kids. With 6 seasons over 7 years, this series is close to many people’s hearts.
So yeah, #ThisIsUs got major snubbed at the Emmys this year. Epic final season and no one deserves a nomination more than the brilliantly talented @TheMandyMoore.

this is us being snubbed by the emmys doesn’t sit right with me that show is arguably one of the best written shows of all time they deserved a nomination more than anyone especially since this was the last season

Everyone on the show was robbed. The whole cast, directors and writers deserved Emmy nods. Just totally wrong. I'm really pissed. Trying to remember that we the fans know and love This Is Us and appreciate all their hard work in giving us the best show ever.

Pachinko is another series that people wanted to see on the list of nominations. This is again an American drama series based on the book written by journalist Min Jin Lee. It is about a Korean family who migrates to Japan and how they face discrimination and stereotyping.
#Emmy nominations are out. #Pachinko was absolutely snubbed. Absolutely snubbed. However, I think it says more about the people did not watch it than the storytelling, which was masterful. Cannot wait for season two.

I'm so mad that #Pachinko got snubbed for Emmy nominations. It was one of my favorite shows that I've watched all year. If you havent seen it yet, please go watch it, it's a beautiful series. pic.twitter.com/0Y9JOOBoVy

No Selena Gomez at Emmy this year? While her show Only Murders in the Building has been nominated several times, the lead actress of the series was left out. And clearly, fans are not impressed.
"Well, we’re thrilled. We’re thrilled at the nominations, not only for us but for the show. We’re dismayed that Selena was not nominated because she’s so crucial to our performances, really." – Steve Martin reacts to Selena’s lead comedy actress snub at the #Emmys pic.twitter.com/U6a9fXscVP

The fans of Peaky Blinders are also deeply disappointed that the fabulous series didn’t even get a single nomination. The sixth season released this year and the finale of the series would be a feature-length movie instead of a series.
this is the biggest snub in the history of snubs… NOT A SINGLE NOMINATION

Stranger Things deserved a place in the Emmy Awards nominations list and got its due too. But the two powerful actors Sadie Sink and Millie Bobby Brown were completely snubbed despite their powerful performances in the show and people don’t think that’s fair.
the way sadie sink and millie bobby brown got snubbed from emmy nomination is the start of my villain origin story pic.twitter.com/IWjAVfq5Mh

Yellowstone was another series which people expected to get quite a few nominations. The series is about the conflicts that arise due to border sharing between a cattle ranch, a land developer and an Indian reservation.
NGL, am bummed that Yellowstone was snubbed by the Emmys this year; also Under The Banner Of Heaven (except for Andrew.) Nice that 1883 got an outstanding cinematography nomination. But how this actor's powerful work this year was overlooked is beyond me…@gilbirmingham pic.twitter.com/4u74YPcBQJ

Find it hard to believe @Yellowstone has been totally snubbed -no Emmy Nominations!

The all-powerful #Wokerati at it again, maybe?
The show, cast, production, etc are so popular, I think the Emmys people have really missed their mark! https://t.co/UCOVsLHMa9
People were also expecting to see Midnight Mass on the list. But alas! The show didn’t bag a single nomination. This miniseries revolves around a community that lives on an island and how they start experiencing supernatural events after a foreign priest arrives.
No but Midnight Mass being snubbed for an Emmy nomination is actually insane. pic.twitter.com/HxhoBZdfHm

Midnight Mass was absolutely snubbed for the best limited series nomination. One of the best series I’ve seen in years. Emmys need to recognize horror more pic.twitter.com/SXcalDmPzc
