IPL is back soon, and we’re as excited as the millions of Indians who will be rooting for their favourite team. Even though the tournament is in its 12th season, there has been no dip as far as excitement is concerned. This year, we’re expecting new hosts considering the show will move from Set Max to Star Sports. But, a little bit of a throwback never hurt anyone, so we’ll look at five of the hottest IPL hosts of all time. 

Gaurav Kapur

A good sense of humour is hot, and Gaurav Kapur’s got truckloads of jokes in his kitty. His happy go lucky nature doesn’t just make him funny, it makes experts like Navjot Singh Sidhu and Shoaib Akhtar find their comic A-Game too. 

Karishma Kotak

She hosted the show in 2013, and we think she is one of the prettiest anchors the show has ever seen. Not only that, her confidence in front of a microphone was hot and we’d love to see her back.

Shonali Nagrani

Winner of Miss India International (and runner-up in Miss International) in 2003, Shonali Nagrani had a long and fruitful stay as an IPL host. She was there for four years, and carried herself wonderfully during her tenure. 

Archana Vijay

As hot as the rising sun, Archana Vijay’s smile could light up a dark room. She was extremely comfortable cracking jokes and shared a great rapport with all the players. Certainly one of the most talented hosts on this list. 

Pallavi Sharda

She has acted in movies like Besharam and Begum Jaan, and even though her acting skills leave a lot to be desired, she has top notch hosting skills.
