Amber Heard Gives A Shocking Testimony; Alleges Sexual Abuse By Johnny Depp
Not everyone is convinced though
After a week of Johnny Depp’s deposition, his ex-wife, Amber Heard stood in front of the court to testify against him. She was presenting her side of the story in a defamation case filed by Depp. Heard’s image has already been maligned in the media, predominantly due to the witness and evidence brought in to court by Depp’s lawyers, but this was her last attempt to tell things her way.
Given this opportunity, she made sure she wouldn’t spare any details of her marriage to Depp. An emotional Heard opened up about being sexually abused by her husband and brought to notice how violent he was.
She testified that the first physical outburst came after she asked him what one of his tattoos said. “He slapped me across the face. I didn’t know what was going on. I just stared at him.” She claimed that he slapped her twice and said “You think it’s funny, bit**?”
“I just laughed because I thought he was joking,” she revealed adding that the moment changed her life. The tattoo in questions said ‘Wino,’ which was the name of Depp’s former girlfriend Winona Ryder. Depp claimed that the fight never happened.
She went on to talk about how Depp has assaulted her “several times,” usually when he was intoxicated. She claimed that in May 2013, Depp assaulted and abused her. “He proceeds to do a cavity search. He’s looking for his drugs, his cocaine,” she added.
Acting as a witness to Heard’s story, psychologist, Dawn Hughes, also testified that the actress had told her about this incident.
Amber Heard may have given her testimony, but there is a large group of people on the internet who are pretty sure she isn’t telling the front. Many people pointed out how Depp was looking down when made to face his abuser. Many Twitter users came out in support of the actor.
Here’s what people had to say:
The actress even switched to a new PR firm in the middle of the trial. She took the step due to the negative coverage in the news during the trial. “She doesn’t like bad headlines. She is frustrated with her story not being told effectively,” revealed the sources.
