Bhumi Pednekar Turns ‘COVID Warrior,’ Asks People To DM Her With Genuine Requests
Bhumi Pednekar tested negative for Covid on April 18 after battling with the virus for 10 days. The isolation and recovery from the infection was a tough job for her, and now that she has had the experience of how it feels, the actress wants to help other victims more than ever. Pednekar has decided to become a Covid Warrior and is helping anyone who has a genuine request for her.
Padnekar issued a statement which read, “#COVIDWARRIOR Dear All, As we move into the second wave of COVID-19 across India, I have created a highlight where I will be identifying resources to enable facilitation & access to medical supplies, plasma request and donors as the case may be.”
“While I am trying my level best to verify the numbers/contacts which are shared with me on a rampant & daily basis, there might be some numbers which may turn out to be fake. In the event that you find any information here not helpful/fake, please do let me know & I will immediately remove the same,” she continued.
Pednekar added that this initiative is a small contribution from her side to the “huge battle that lies ahead to us.” She urged her fans to be patient and not lose hope as we all are in this together. The actress had tested positive for COVID-19 on April 5 and was under home quarantine for recovery.
