Anushka Sharma Reveals Her Perfect Batting Stance In ‘Chakda Xpress’
Anushka Sharma’s ‘Chakda Xpress’ is based on the life of the former captain of the Indian national women’s cricket team, Jhulan Goswami.
Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma has shared a glimpse of how she is preparing for her next film Chakda Xpress. She will be playing Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. Taking to Instagram, Anushka shared a reel and wrote, “Get-Sweat-Go! 🏏 #ChakdaXpress #prep getting hard and intense as we are counting days 🎬”.
The Jab Tak Hai Jaan actor has been sweating it out for 2-3 hours, six days a week, to play the role of a cricketer convincingly. The actor called her prep session “hard and intense”.
Anushka was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero (2018). In January 2021, shewelcomed daughter Vamika with her husband Virat Kohli.
Chakda Xpress is inspired by the life of one of India’s most decorated woman cricketers Jhulan Goswami. The film will trace Jhulan’s inspirational journey as she moved up the ladder despite the hindrances posed by misogynistic politics to fulfil her dream of playing cricket for India.
