Sidharth Malhotra is part of a new project by filmmaker Rohit Shetty, which will take the director’s cop cinematic universe to the digital space. The director’s OTT debut will be marked with this cop-based web series, Indian Police Force, which will premiere on Amazon Prime Video. Releasing the teaser of the web series, Sidharth wrote, “When @itsrohitshetty sir says Action, you know he literally means it! Super stoked to enter the cop universe with the action king himself! @rohitshettypicturez @primevideoin #IndianPoliceForceOnPrime now filming.”

In the teaser, we can see Rohit taking bullet-loaded riffle in hand and Sidharth making an impressive entry as a cop. The one-minute and 51 second teaser of Indian Police Force gave a glimpse of how Rohit conceptualised the project and the preparation that underwent for the series.

On Tuesday, Sidharth and Rohit, both took to their social media handles to announce their collaboration. The filmmaker dropped the first look of the actor where he is seen in his police avatar. In the poster, the Sidharth can be seen standing in front of a line of police cars. He captioned it, “Action begins tomorrow at 11:00 AM!

Rohit Shetty said “Indian Police Force is a very special one for me and I’ve been working on it for years. I’m delighted to be collaborating with Amazon Prime Video to breathe life into this story which will transcend geographies and linguistic barriers, providing me an opportunity to showcase the same to audiences worldwide. I am super excited to be working with the amazingly talented Sidharth Malhotra in this series. I have always strived to push the envelope of action-first entertainment and with this series, I am confident we will create a new benchmark.”

Apart from this, Sidharth has several projects lined up including Mission Majnu along with Pushpa star Rashmika Mandanna, Karan Johar’s Yodha along with Disha Patani, and Thank God with Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh.
