While weddings seem to be trending topic in Bollywood nowadays, many fans have been eager to know when Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are planning to have a baby. The actor is often asked this question by the media, and he also always obliges them with quirky answers.

Recently, during the trailer launch of his upcoming film, Jayehsbhai Jordaar, Singh was once again asked if he wanted a boy or a girl. The the actor gave a quick witty reply to the question.

Quoting a dialogue from the trailer, Singh replied saying, “When you go to the temple, they don’t ask you na if you want laadu or sheera. Whatever you get, you have it with whole reverence since it is prasad. So the same logic applies here. Whatever God wishes to bless Deepika and me with – be it a boy or girl, it will be a true blessing. So no choice there.”

Jayeshbhai Jordaar revolves around a social issue, and the trailer shared a glimpse of the story that sees Singh playing a father who is on the run to keep his family safe from those who prefer having a male child over a girl.

Earlier while answering a journalist’s question on how he would paint his life’s ‘big picture,’ Singh said, “Woah! I would want a lovely house where my wife, my kids and my family are around, playing around joyfully. Everyone is happy and healthy. I don’t know what else to ask other than that I am able to entertain till my last day. This is my life’s big picture.”

Apart from Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Ranveer Singh also has Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus and Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Padukone will share the screen again with Shah Rukh Khan in Pathan. She also will be seen in Fighter with Hrithik Roshan, and in an Indian remake of The Intern.
