According to a report that was released late last year, the current reigning Queen of the Hindi film industry, Deepika Padukone had been voted the most trusted celebrities in India. The report is titled ‘TIARA Research Report on Celebrities as Human Brands’ and was released by Indian Cricket team coach Ravi Shastri and Indian Institute of Human Brands (IIHB) chief mentor Sandeep Goyal. While Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli were voted the most trusted celebrity couple, Padukone was at the top of the list of women celebrities in the industry with a score of 82.8.
Deepika Padukone is undoubtedly one of Bollywood’s most powerful stars – her films have made big bucks at the box office and received high praise from critics. Even though Padukone’s film, Padmaavat was marred by innumerable controversies including people setting a bounty on her head, it went on to make over ₹585 crores, making it the 10th highest-grossing Indian film of all time. Padmaavat also received 18 nominations at the 64th Filmfare Awards and three National Film Awards.

This is something she had not done in a while now,” Filmfare quotes a source as having told a leading portal.
