Eternally Confused And Eager For Love , a miniseries that recently premiered on Netflix, came packed with the promise of being relatable. Starring Vihaan Samat, Jim Sarbh, Rahul Bose and Suchitra Pillai in pivotal roles, the show revolves around a young boy navigating life and love. Ray (played by Samat) is guided by his inner voice (Sarbh), a wizard, and what follows the ups and downs of his love life.
Directed by Rahul Nair, the show’s trailer got quite some traction from the audience. The story looked funny, light-hearted and relateable so everyone was quite intrigued to know what the miniseries will be all about. It premiered on March 18th, 2022.

The eight-episode coming-of-age series is everything people are talking about on Twitter. More than anything, Sarbh’s quirky character — the imaginary wizard friend — found much love from the audience. Fans loved how he brought freshness to the show that could have otherwise been a little bland.

I had thoroughly enjoyed all the 8 episodes to fullest. Vihaan samat played as ray was perfect for the character. Deals with the modern relationship problem. Nice comedy series from Netflix . Highly recommended!!!! pic.twitter.com/w8757d3Hpv
Eternally confused and eager for love is a good show, except that the title is longer than the show.

Started watching eternally confused and eager for love. Man is wearing an arsenal kit, nervous and getting ignored by girls. Am I sitting in front of a mirror?

Writing a light and breezy show seems easy but it is incredibly tough because you’re not creating an intense drama but yet trying to connect your audience with the protagonist. And boy does @RahulNair8 nails it with Eternally Confused and Eager for Love.

It’s been a while since a show was made for young, urban India and the pilot for ‘Eternally Confused and Eager for Love’ really scratched that itch for me. Excited for the rest of the series.

Earlier talking about the show and casting Sarbh in the young adult dramedy, the director told FirstPost, “The series wouldn’t have worked without him. He wasn’t part of our shooting. We had someone stand in his place. We cast Jim in the post-production. Before that, we had not zeroed in on the voice. Azeem Banatwalla helped us a lot, he gave Vihaan Samat (Ray) the cues on the sets. Later Jim Sarbh did the dubbing, with his own improvisations. He gave the show a second layering.
Eternally Confused And Eager For Love is produced by Zoya Akhtar-Reema Kagti and Farhan Akhtar-Ritesh Sidhwani, Tiger Baby , and Excel Entertainment respectively.
