Now, the latest grapevine is that Salman Khan has given a nod to Chiranjeevi’s Telugu film, GodFather (tentative title).
Directed by Mohan Raja, Khan will be seen in the remake of the Malayalam hit, Lucifer. Reports in Filmfare also suggest that he will perform a long action sequence with Chiranjeevi in the film. The film, which will release in three parts, will be Chiranjeevi’s 153rd film. The Malayalam hit starred Mohanlal in the key role.
Apart from this, Salman Khan is currently shooting for Tiger 3 in Russia. The actor has earlier teased his fans with a workout video, indicating that he has started the prep for the film. Several media reports suggest that Hashmi will essay the role of an ISI agent in Tiger 3. Confirming the news, a source told Pinkvilla that Hashmi’s character will be named Tiger, and he will be taken on Salman Khan’s character, who is popularly known as Tiger as well. Yes, it is Tiger vs Tiger this time. Khan will essay the role of a RAW official, and the film will revolve around a battle between Indian and Pakistani intelligence agencies.
Talking about Pathan, the film will also see Khan and Shah Rukh Khan coming together after ages. Khan has a 15-minute appearance in the film which also stars John Abraham in a key role. Salman Khan will be reprising the role of Avinash Singh Rathore aka Tiger for the film, and both the stars will be carrying forward the film under the guise of undercover RAW agents.
